The GX4816 is the new flagship audio expander from Allen & Heath, providing high-input-count remote expansion for SQ, Avantis and dLive mixing desks. The GX8416 comes loaded with 48 dLive mic preamps, each preamp with its own individual Phantom Power LED indicator, 16 XLR line outs. An additional 2 DX ports are provided for connecting to a maximum of 4 DX expanders for further I/O expansion. It’s possible to connect to a ME personal mixer via the DX2 socket. Connection between the GX4816 couldn’t be simpler, simply connect via one CAT5e cable to an Slink socket on an SQ or Avantis desk, or, to an gigaACE audio netword card on a dLive system.
